Recap: No new readings assigned over the weekend. We will review poems by Coleridge, Keats, and Clare (listed on Syllabus for Monday February 12). If you missed Wednesday's class, the in-class discussion/group work involved (1) Considering the remainder of Wordsworth's assigned poems (that we did not cover in class) from the perspective of his Preface, specifically what a poet is and what a poet should do in his poetry AND our relationship to nature; (2) How do Dorothy Wordsworth's Grasmere Journals compare to her brother's poetic principles? Is she truly "her brother's sister"? Or does she deviate in any way?
